Suarez’s statue vandalised in Uruguay after attending Lionel Messi’s wedding. Ukridosblog gathered that the monument was located in Salto, Suarez’s hometown.
A local media reports that culprit who brought down Suarez’s status was drunk and after the incident, he was arrested by the police and forced to pay for the damage.
The damaged monument has been taken away for repairs and replaced with a note that read: “I went to Messi’s wedding, I’ll be back soon.”
The incident took place while the Barcelona striker was in Agentina celebrating with Messi on his wedding day.
